Follow this step-by-step guide for CubexSoft Data Wipe Software.

STEP 1

First, Download the Data Wipe software on your Windows operating system.

Launch CubexSoft Data Wipe Software to erase files/folders and other data from all types of Storage Devices and Hard Drives.

As you can see, the software provides dual options for wiping data from Files & Folders or Logical Drives.

Choose the option Wipe data from Files and Folders

Now click on Select Files or Select Folders button to add files and folders for deletion.

The software will show complete path of the selected Files/Folder.

After selecting the required files/folders, click on Next button to move further.

The software shows all the files and folders in exact hierarchy alongwith their respective checkboxes. Select the folders that you want to delete using the provided checkboxes, as shown below -

Data Wipe Software also provides different filters to wipe data accordingly.

  • Date Range : User can select date range to delete data of the selected date range.
  • File Mask : User can delete only those files having the specified file extension.
  • Overwrite Data with : Overwrite the entire data text with --- CubexSoftDataWipe --- text.

After setting the required filters, go back to the Select Folders tab and click on Next button.

Select the required data wiping method from the drop down menu.

After selecting the required data wiping method, click on Wipe button to start the process.

A new pop window will open with warning message. Click on Yes button to start the data wiping process.

After the data wipe process is successfully finished, a new message window opens with the message"Data Wipe process successfully completed" .

Choose the option Wipe data from Logical Drives

Choose the required wiping option for deleting data from logical drives.

Choose the required logical drive from the drop down menu to erase data from it.

Select the required data wiping method from the menu.

Once, it gets downloaded, lauch and open it. The first screen will be shown as:

Click on Add Files or Add Folder button to add EML files.

Now, cross-check the files that are listed on the application pane with checkboxes. You can select/deselect the checkbox as per your requirements and wipe selective files (if required). Otherwise, click Next.

You can choose wiping method by clicking the drop-down arrow appearing under Select Wiping Method.

Click Advanced Settings for Filtered Wiping if you want to wipe the files of specific date you can use date range filter. In case you want to wipe the files of specific format, then choose file mask option. Also, you can utilize Overwrite Data Text option to overwrite the existing data. After this, click on Wipe button to start the data wiping process. -

STEP 6

Check the progress of data wiping appearing on the screen that will tell the total files count, Wiped files count and wipe status. -

The tool will take few seconds to wipe unlimited data and then show Data Wipe Successfully Completed message to users. Click OK and you will see the log report that will be generated automatically by the tool. It will show the summary of data wipe process. -
