CubexSoft HostGator Email Server Backup : Working Manual!

Follow this step by step working guide of CubexSoft HostGator Email Backup Software

And download/ save/ backup/ archive Emails from HostGator Server Account.

STEP 1

Launch HostGator Email Server Backup Tool to save backup of HostGator Server mailboxes to multiple options.

Go to Start » Type CubexSoft All-Mail Backup » Click on CubexSoft All-Mail Backup to launch the app

Now, Select IMAP Server from the Email Source List shown at the left side of the software screen as shown below:

To start with HostGator Server backup procress, first you need to login to your HostGator Server accounts.

Now that you have selected IMAP Server as a source, a login form will appear at the right panel. Fill the Username, password, IMAP Host Name and Port number of your HostGator Server.

After successful login to your HostGator Account, the software will load all Mail folders, sub-folders and shows them in the Folder List on its left screen.

The software loads and shows the exact folder hierarchy of all mail folders, labels of the account with accurate message count as shown below -

Once the loading of folders in finished, the available backup options will appear in the right screen.

The software provides multiple saving formats to save HostGator Server mailboxes backup.

  • File Formats - PST, PDF, EML, EMLx, MSG, MBOX, HTML, MHTML
  • Email Servers - Exchange Server, Hosted Exchange Sever
  • Cloud Based services - Gmail, G Suite, Amazon Workmail, Office 365, Outlook.com, Hotmail

Choose the required saving option as per your needs, as shown below-

STEP 6

Select the saving location if you are saving HostGator email backup in File formats.

And if you have opted to save HostGator mailboxes to cloud based services or any server, you need to provide the login details and other options to connect to the respective account.

STEP 7

The HostGator Server Backup software is a complete tool that also provides advanced filters for selective data backup.

  • Date Filters - User can select date range to save emails of the selected date range
  • TO, FROM Fields Filters - Users can choose specific to and from addresses to save HostGator emails
  • Subject Filters - Users can filter the final saving by saving the emails that contains specfic words and phrases.

Choose the appropriate filter option from the advance options -

STEP 8

Software provides selective folder saving option for "selective data backup". Select those folders thta you want to save by checking their respective checkboxes.

Once you selected all desired options and filters, Click Backup button as shown below-

The software will now start the HostGator server backup process and displays live progress report.

Export Process

After completion, a Dialog box will open showing “Conversion Completed Successfully” message. Click on Ok and proceed.

After successful HostGator backup process, the software will open the Log Report in TXT file as shown below -

Once the saving process is done, you can view the files by navigating to the saving location or in the destination accounts selected previously.
