CubexSoft IMAP Email Backup : Know How it Works!

Follow working guide of CubexSoft IMAP Backup Software.

To backup/save/archive Emails from IMAP Hosted Server Account.

STEP 1

Launch IMAP Email Backup Tool to save backup of IMAP Server emails to various technical file formats and cloud applications.

Go to Start » Type CubexSoft All-Mail Backup » Click on CubexSoft All-Mail Backup to launch the app

Now, Select IMAP Server from the Email Source List showing at the left pane of the software screen as shown below:

To start with IMAP Server backup process, you need to first login to your IMAP Server accounts.

Now that you have selected IMAP Server as a source, a login form will appear at the right panel. Fill the Username, password, IMAP Host and Post number of IMAPServer.

STEP 4

After successful login to your IMAP Account, the software will load all the folders, sub-folders and displays them in the Folder List on its left screen.

The software shows the exact hierarchy of folders, labels of the account with accurate message count as shown below -

After loading the folders, the available backup options will appear in the right screen.

The software provides multiple saving formats to backup IMAP Server mailboxes.

  • File Formats - PST, PDF, EML, EMLx, MSG, MBOX, HTML, MHTML
  • Email Servers - Exchange Server, Hosted Exchange Sever
  • Cloud Based services - Gmail, G Suite, Amazon Workmail, Office 365, Outlook.com, Hotmail

Choose the required saving option as per your needs, as shown below-

STEP 6

Select the saving location if you are saving IMAP email backup in File formats.

And if you have opted to save IMAP server data to cloud based services or any server, you just need to enter the login credential other options to connect to the respective options.

STEP 7

The IMAP Server Backup software also provides advanced filters for selective data backup.

  • Date Filters - User can select date range to save emails only the selected date range
  • TO, FROM Fields Filters - Users can choose specific to and from addresses to save IMAP emails
  • Subject Filters - Users can filter the final saving by saving the emails that contains specfic words and phrases.

Choose the appropriate filter option from the following options -

STEP 8

Software provides selective folder saving option for "selective data backup". Select those folders that you want to save by selcting their respective checkboxes.

Once you have selected all desired options and filters, Click Backup button as shown below-

The software will now start the IMAP Server backup process and displays live progress report.

Export Process

After completion, a Dialog box will open showing “Conversion Completed Successfully” message. Click on OK and proceed.

After successful IMAP server migration, software will open the Log Report in TXT file as shown below -

Once the saving process is done, you can view the files by navigating to the saving location or in the destination accounts selected previously.
